Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><DIV><P><SPAN>Major roads, which were subjectively determined, were selected and dissolved based upon name (including street prefix) and attributed with road number and road class. Multiple lane roads (i.e. multiple centerlines representing the travel direction or volume of a road) were dissolved to one line for generalization and labeling purposes. Primary criteria for inclusion; all freeways, highways, expressways, county routes, primary reference is: http://www.cahighways.org/. Additionally, major arterials and arterials were included, primary reference is local knowledge and criteria is to emphasize the mesh nature of roads within the county. THE GIS DATA IS PROVIDED "AS IS".
